Life-Threatening Challenges of Ehrlichiosis and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever

At the 2020 Q1 meeting of the Federal Tick-Borne Conditions Working Group (TBCWG), TBC United Board member Marlene Jones speaks to the committee on her life-threatening challenges with both Ehrlichiosis and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. During her third trip to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) in the same week, she was told she may not live.

Following months of sickness and recovery, she now advocates for more accurate and timely testing, immune therapy, and cures other than antibiotics. The need for significantly more education for medical professionals was also stressed.

Tick-Borne Conditions United is a registered 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. Your support goes to fund education, research, and advocacy to help those with tick-borne conditions.
